Andy Carroll had a good week, during which he has made good progress and is also running on the pitch. It is four weeks since Andy was injured in the UEFA Europa League tie with Astra in Romania. He is working hard, but it will take time before he is ready to return to action.

Am confident the season after next will be his year, guaranteed 12 /14 goals that year.
Will be handy in our promotion season

West Ham should never go into a season or run of games where we are reliant on Andy Carroll.
That's why we bought in Zaza, Fletcher, Ayew AND Calleri.
Basically we need a 3/4 strikers to rotate and cover injuries and Andy Carroll fit is just a compliment to that.
Not a bad position to be in where everyone is fit including Carroll but it's unlikely to ever be the case and even if it is Carroll should still not be considered first choice.

Sniper, I think it should be Fletcher coming on in front of Callari anyway.
